hello can anyone please help me ive just formatted my pc with windows 7 64bit & before the windows updates installed i got a baloon bottom right of screen saying "Nvidia display driver stopped working" then the screen went black then back to the normal screen then i noticed hundreds of red dots all over my screen?

so i went to Nvidia & downloaded there newest driver for my cards & rebooted BUT it STILL does the same?
now im in SAFE MODE and its ok there is no problem.? but if i boot in normal mode the screen stays black?
PLEASE help..

I would uninstall all graphic card drivers completely - shutdown - remove your card from the slot - reboot - shutdown - reinsert your graphics card - reboot - find latest drivers and install.

See if you can roll back the Nvidia driver to an earlier one. As later Nvidia drivers are not compatible with Windows 7.

i belive its the driver.?

If you have rolled back your drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the latest from manufacturers website and you still get the same issues, i still fear you card is dying...

It could be the ram chip on your card failing...
