You can send a music file using OE with an email which will be played when the recipient opens the message.

It does not seem to work in Thunderbird so I was wondering if there is an extension which would allow you to do this?

Interesting.

Seems very sensible that it doesn't work, but each to their own. I don't know if it can be done with an extension, though.
