How can I send a fax via broadband/vista of a receipt that i have scanned & saved as a PDF & JPEG?
I have an Epson DX7400 but when hit send to fax it says I need the drivers....but can't find any!!
I have looked all over my programs on my laptop (HP Pavilion DV6231eu)
I have found some sites with free trials but can't paste the saved file into the body of the fax except one but it was only for the USA not UK
I am getting very frustrated....AAAAAAAGH!!

You cannot send a fax by broadband.

You can only send/receive faxes via a dial-up modem.

But as I am very very blonde about these things!!!!

Does it have to go as a fax?

Can't you send it as an e-mail attachment?

It is to send a copy of a receipt to prove date of purchase so they can autho my laptop to go back & have a new mother board.
Might be easier just to go to Staples & have it zapped!!

"No they asked for a fax"

Tell them to enter the real world.

If you can send it as an e-mail attachment, they'll still "have a copy of a receipt to prove date of purchase"

especially as it is HP & for a laptop that they would want to use the latest technology.....but
Thanks for your help

Just scan and copy it into the body of the e-mail. There is no need to make it an attacment.
Then wait and see if they still ask for a fax.
