click here this error seems to usually be relevant to network connectivity problems, so what it's got to do with a flash disk isn't immediately clear.
What version of Windows are you using and is there any specific program attempting to access the flash disk contents ?

I am using Windows XP Pro.

Well that pretty well rules out the possibility of Driver problems. The only thing I can think of would be several programs trying to access the drive simultaneously, do you have anything like iTunes or ACDsee trying to read it ?

No I don't have any iTunes
