I recently put together a panoramic photo and saved it. This went into the pictures folder as an icon and is only opened up on Photoshop-is there a way to compress this photo to allow me to send it by email?

Any conventional zipping software (Win Zip; 7-Zip) will compress it.

But the e-mail recipient will also need Photoshop on his/her PC to open it.

Forget winzip. Open the picture in photoshop, and then save it as a jpg. If it`s too large, resize it, and adjust the compression so that its a reasonable size for the e-mail.

I make lots of panoramas and that is my advice.

An afterthought; most people will have some programme that will open a jpg, but if your recipient does not, then Irfanview will do the job; (free too).
