One thing to note is that if you had un-registered vgx.dll as a workaround, you should re-register before applying the update.

Just switched on again after going out and this time there's a new version of Avast! available....:-)

IE7 Would appear not to require this update,automatic update found nothing needed.

I downloaded it anyway,but message said not needed for the version that I was running when I hit install.

Anybody else found this with IE7?
