SECURITY SOFTWARE

Hi,

I have just recently bought a new Dell PC with vista. It came with a basic 30 day free trail of McAfee Security package.

I am now looking to get security on my PC but am unsure what to purchase?

I normally just use my PC for internet use or basic word processing/powerpoint for work.

Do i need a internet security package, a full package (such as Norton 360) or both?

Can someone recommend a good one to purchase?

Thanks

There is no need whatsoever to buy security software for a home computer...use AVG free version A/V click here and Super antispyware free version click here and these plus a modicum of common sense, will protect you more than you will ever need. With the money you have saved put it towards an external HD and Acronis True Image...this will be of much more use and will save your life one day.
