Security question again

Hi - my Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 license runs out in a couple of weeks (I've got it on the desktop and laptop).

Do you recommend continuing with the latest version or replacing it with something else to provide as much security as possible? I was wondering about MS Security Essentials, but would I need anything extra to go with it? Before KIS, I had AVG (the free version) and Zonealarm

I've got XP Home on the desktop and Vista on the laptop.

MSE is proving highly effective.

If you use MSE be sure to run any appropriate cleanups first.

I just use MSE and Windows own firewall in Vista. Never had any issues.
Occasionally I image the disc and install and run other antimalware products (as a check) but they always come back clean.

It's great having a program that doesn't use much in the way of resources.
Others will disagree for sure, but MSE on it's own is great... and the PC is so responsive after years of "other" products.

Kaspersky 2010 is much better than the 2009 version.
If you happen to bank online at Barclays they offer it free.

I've just realised there is an update to 2010, so I've downloaded that.
