When I go to download Windows Media Player 10 from the internet I get a msg box saying "your current Security setting does not allow you to download from this site" But when I go to my Internet Settings I have microsoft as one of my trusted sites, this also happens with other downloads I have tried. How do I check my Security Settings. I used to have Norton but I uninstalled it, I now have McAfee.

Try Internet Options>Security>Custom Level and scroll down to Downloads.

When I open the Control Panel-Internet options -Security I get the choice of -Internet-Local Intanet- Restricted Sites-Trusted Sites.
