hi, thanks to the people who tried to help me before.

i am trying to buy online but evertime i get the secure warning box and click ok, i get the page not available or empty boxes with little red crosses in. i thought it might be my norton firewall but norton says it isn't and now i have uninstalled it and they are right .i rang my isp (freeserve) and they reset thing and said if that does work to update my 128 bit in internet explore well i have looked at that and it says no update for internet explorer 5.5 with 128 bit.
what else could it be please.i would appreciate any help.
thanks in advance

IE has the right parameters set then. It has to be a security setting.

Have you tried the repair option of IE.

Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and
Internet Tools | Add/Remove button

Then select Repair.

You could also upgrade to IE6 or reset your security.

i can not see any repair option in add and remove.

  spikeychris 20:26 09 Jul 03

You have to click remove first, it will then offer you the repair option
