SECRETMAKER causing blue screen crash

  Halmer 11:24 01 Jan 05

I downloaded Secretmaker as I am receiving so much spam these days.

Since I have started to use it, however, if I have Outlook Express 6.0 and Explorer running my PC crashes with a blue screen error message and a quick reboot. It happens so fast that I can't read the error message. I am fairly sure that the circumstances above cause the crash.

Has anyone else had and sorted this please?

Alternatively, can anyone recommend a free spam filter that is actually worth installing please?

your best bet at the moment is a good virus checker and firewall then run spybot and adaware regularly. I would expect better spam filters to come through in the next few months but IE seems to be doing a good job for me at the moment.
