Second ISP

I have a Pentium 4 2.4GHz, 1.25 GB Ram, Windows XP

I am thinking of changing my ISP, I have been told I have to cancel my current ISP and there will be a short delay before the new one is up and running, also what is a MAB POST?

Is it possible to run two ISP at the same time, till I get the new one up and running?

No, not if you are on broadband.

Are you on dial up or broadband. If you are on broadband you simply telephone your ISP and request a MAC code to enable you to migrate to another ISP. It usually takes your current ISP up to three days to e-mail you with this code. You then migrate/sign up to your new ISP quoting the ISP.

I migrated just this last week and had no down time at all.

Good luck.

Sorry that should have read sign up to your new ISP quoting the MAC code.
