Because my XP Machine is behaving very bad and can hardly do anything in XP Home itself I am running now a Seagate HDD Diagnostic test (Full) it is a Seagate HDD.

The test so far is reporting Bad Sector LBA: etc and to each number for a bad sector its refers to files or Sub directories may be inacessable.

Erh can these be fixed or is my HDD Goosed ? XP is pre-installed only have a factory restore CD.

Well.. It could be reformatted and it may be ok, but to be honest it sounds like there may be a problem deloping with your HDD.

HDD even in safe mode running very bad.
Will try the System restore but prefer new HDD for piece of mind. Typical bank Holiday expense.
