SD Video camera compatibility problem.

Hi

I purchased an SDR-S15 Panasonic SD video camara without thinking to check the specs and discovered that it is not compatible with a 64 bit system.

Although I can still view the photos without needing to install the software (videocam suite 2.0) I cannot view the video files.

I have tried the run software in compatibility mode but this option is ghosted although all the various other options are not.

I have a lot of videos stored on the camera that are really important to me and I really want to be able to view them on my laptop.

Does anybody please know anyway I can get round this?

What about free Windows Movie Maker!

If you have a DVD recorder (to record from TV) you can record direct from the camera onto a DVD and then transfer the files to your HDD.
