Scrolling

When I now scroll either putting the pointer on the bar on the left or using the mouse, the screen flickers as it moves upor down. This did not happen before I had the computer repaired. Have tried to alter the settings to smooth but no success.
Have Windows XP and Windows 2003.
Have asked the repairer for help but his advice did not cure the problem

Sounds more like a graphics driver issue to me....What's the make and model of your card?

You may have the screen resoloution set too low.

Hi crosstrainer,
My graphics card is a ASUS N6200 Nvidia G-Force
Part Number 90-C1CFDM-GUANZ
Hope this helps

Can't seem to find any drivers for your (I suspect) Onboard graphics chip.

But they are on the asus site:

Make sure you scroll to the correct card (there are three choices here...) You can tell the exact memory configuration of your card by watching the screen closely on boot up. EG 128MB 256MB, then download and install the correct driver from the link above.

Crosstrainer,
I don't know what I have done, but I can now move the screen bit by bit as I originally did.
So this subject is now resolved.
Many thanks
