I know you can change the colour of scrollbars - im sure I've seen some html (not flash) scrollbars which are thinner than standard too. Anyone know how?

Yes you can - but it is non-standard. It worked in IE 5.5 but doesn't work in IE6 when running in standards-compliant mode.

CSS [Cascading Style Sheets] is the easiest method but this will only work in Internet Explorer after version 5.5
