Script Alert from Norton Anti-Virus

  Scrivers 17:12 29 Dec 04

Norton Anti-virus is alerting me to a script alert in C:\Documents and Setting\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\Windows Timer.hta. Norton isn't providing the option to quarantine it only to stop it. Looking at the file it was created at 9.59 this morning when I was on the Internet. I'm tempted to just delete it. Any advice.

I think you're probably safe to delete it after you've checked it's propeties, just check it's not a legit M$ file first :-)
