I disconnected my desktop monitor from the tower to move it to another room and after i reconnected it the screen resolution and font are small and the icons are blurred. It makes the text on webpages too small.
Could anyone please advise how to get my original screen resolution back.
I'm using a samsung lcd, with an nvidia GE force GTX 260 although the dispaly settings are defaulting to Synmaster.

Sure it's not just a problem with the lead and/or connectors?

suedeblue: just fyi, 'SyncMaster' is the Samsung brand name.

Thanks for all the replies.
I did remove and reattach the monitor lead to the tower, but no success.
I'll retry.
