screen resolution

My computer will not go back to its naive screen resolution since iv'e changed monitors and put the old one but repaired back on .The recomended screen resolution has gone but the 1280*1024 which i want is still there but when i click on it ,it says no input supported ,and i have windows 7.Any suggesions please .Thank you.

The native resolution for your AOC is 1920*1080 - does it offer you this setting? It should, according to nVidia click here.

If not, try updating the graphics drivers & reboot. Latest for Win7 32-bit click here, & 64-bit click here. G

When switching monitors the driver adapts. It may nor always adapt depending on your method switching the monitor. Try removing it from Device Manager then restarting your computer this should force back to the best driver on your system.

You could also try driver roll back and last known food config.
