Screen capture programs

Hi, I have tried most screen capture programs including Snagit, MW snap, Printscreen and a Firefox add on.

I have used them mainly to capture an image of family trees from Ancestery.co.uk, but the text in the capture never appears as clear as the origonal text on the screen.

Can any one suggest a screen capture program that produces really good capture images please?

I find the PrintScrn key then paste into Paint works quite OK.

If you just need the active window or form use the Alt key in conjunction with the Printscrn key.

If you have W 7 the snipping tool is ok.

I agree with Nontek. I've been using the one recommended successfully for some time.

Does Faststone capture 5.3 (Freeware) work on W7,
because on the web page link you gave, it says up to Vista?
Thanks David

My preference, PicPick - click here a grand little program and it's free. Once captured PicPick's editor offers a choice of adjustments you can make to the image.
