Scheduling A Restore Point?

Is it possible to set the task scheduler to make System Restore/System Check Points on my PC on a daily basis?

I do know that my pc used to make a System Check Point every 12 hours, but for some reason it doesn’t do that anymore, since I re-installed XP sometime ago. So I wonder if I could set the Scheduler to do this?

Of course if there is another way of doing this without using the Scheduler, please let me know.

I am using a Soltek SLKT400-AC Main board with XP.

Thanks

Maybe you can try to clear CMOS data by jumper JBAT1 on the mainboard:
1) Turn off your system and unplug the power cord.

2) Move cap of JBAT1 from pin1~2 to pin2~3.

3) After 30 seconds, return the cap back to pin1~2.

4) Power on to Load Optimized Defaults in BIOS and set system time.
Then test again if it works.

Has anyone tried this solution

May this help? "Creating restore points at preset intervals: Restore-point creation at specified intervals is disabled by default but can be enabled by using the registry editor, Regedit.exe..." - click here. Good luck, G
