Scheduling A Restore Point?

Is it possible to set the task scheduler to make System Restore/System Check Points on my PC on a daily basis?

I do know that my pc used to make a System Check Point every 12 hours, but for some reason it doesn’t do that anymore, since I re-installed XP sometime ago. So I wonder if I could set the Scheduler to do this?

Of course if there is another way of doing this without using the Scheduler, please let me know.

I am using a Soltek SLKT400-AC Main board with XP.

Thanks

Maybe you can try to clear CMOS data by jumper JBAT1 on the mainboard:
1) Turn off your system and unplug the power cord.

2) Move cap of JBAT1 from pin1~2 to pin2~3.

3) After 30 seconds, return the cap back to pin1~2.

4) Power on to Load Optimized Defaults in BIOS and set system time.
Then test again if it works.

Has anyone tried this solution
