Please can someone help me!! My Lenovo computer is only a few weeks old...

Whenever I start up my computer I get these error msgs pop up onto the screen.

"The application failed to initialise properly (0XC0000096). Click ok to terminate the application.

"scheduler_proxy Application has stopped working".

"CSS Authentication Provider has stopped working".

"avast! service GUI component has stopped working".

Oh and my Avast is not working either?? I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it and there's still problems. Grrrrr.

Any ideas on how to fix it pleeeeeease?
Thanks

The CSS bit appears to be an element of Lenovo's bundled `security` software, is it conflicting with Avast?

Hi, I'm not sure if it's conflicting.
Avast has been working fine on the laptop for a few weeks, then suddenly the whole laptop went kaput 2 days ago. The laptop kept randomly shutting down by itsself.

Thanks
