I have scanned an landscape orientated document in to WORD 2000. When it appears on screen it is in portrait style. How can I flip it over to landscape so I can work on it.

File menu, Page Setup, Orientation.

Or

check your scanning software for an option to do this.

If you have scanned the image and then inserted it into word can you select it and then using the DRAWING toolbar select DRAW > ROTATE OR FLIP to put it the right way round?

If you need to turn on the drawing toolbar right click any blank area of toolbar and select it from the list - It should appear at the bottom of the screen

You won't be able to work on it anyway. Once you scan a document it becomes a "picture" in whatever format you saved it in. If it is a text document the only way you can work on it is to put it through an OCR first.
