Scanner software problem (Epson)

Using a Epson Perfection 1250 Scanner.
The problem is, that every now and then "Epson Smart Panel" just pops up, and despite closing it, it just keeps constantly popping up. The only way is to unplug the scanner.
Is there any other way to do this.

there are drivers for that model on their website, have you tried downloading the latest ones?

Never thought of that. I'll give it a try

Unless you like to use the buttons on the scanner, which I never do, you can uninstall the smart panel. All you need are the TWAIN drivers to scan into any supporting application.

Thanks for that
