Scanner Driver

I am trying to install the scanner from my old computer into my new one. I have the original installation disk but when I run it it tells me that it can`t install as there is no driver installed. I have been on to the Mnfrs (Canon)
web site and found my model listed (canoscan 1250U2) but can find no way to download as there is no download icon there. How can I get the Driver I require please. Is it possible to get a driver on a disc. I can`t remember how I installed it in the old computer. Thanks fo any help you can provide.Meshuga.

If you click here and then put your cursor over the driver name it will be highlighted. Click on the driver you want e.g. 'Scangear CS-U (' Again click on the file name 'S3318enx.exe' which will take you to the agreement page. Check the box to accept the agreement and click on the 'Download driver' box.

PS Oops - select your OS and language first - then as above.
