Scanner dc adapters

Is there anyone else out there who gets really
annoyed about off standard dc power supplies
that power your peripherals? The dc adapter on my Epson Perfection 1250 has "thrown in the towel", but do you think I can find somewhere to get a replacement A130B/E adapter? Why don't
manufacturers set up an industry standard? Motherboard manufacturers can manage to do it so why not do the same thing for peripheral power supplies? Anyway if anyone can enlighten me as to where I can get hold of the above mentioned
item I would be most grateful.

First make sure it is a DC adapter - there are a few AC adapters out there as well.

Secondly look at the voltage/polarity/current it supplies.

Thirdly, get to your local electrical shop and see if they have an equivalent - they may have if it's a standard output - but don't get an underpowered one.

Also have a look to see if there's one of these centres near you click here
