Scanned Image is reversed.

If I scan an Image on my Scanner, an Epson Perfection 610, in a programme called Serif PhotoPlus 7, the resulting image is always incorrect on screen and has to be flipped horizontally.

If I do the same scan in Paint Shop Pro, or Picture It in XP the image is always correctly set up on screen.
I am sure it wasn't like this when I first got the Serif programme.

There is nothing in Preferences as far as I can see to stop this annoying habit by the Serif programme.

Can anyone suggest what I can do to correct this ?

Thanks

Timothy

It's as likely to be the Epson software as anything else so I'd check that out or re-install that if I were you.

I've used the Serif Photoplus series for years and have never seen this phenomena, but have never used an Epson scanner, not a criticism of course, just an acknowlegementy of a possibility.

You got it right first time it's the Serif, remove the program then reinstall

Just check that you have not set it to scan for transfer printing, as this automatically mirrors the image.
