"Scanmaster" E3 won't work on brothers PC.

Hello,

someone gave my brother an old Scanmaster flatbed scanner for his PC (Packard Bell Win 98 etc), however, it won't work at all, and having got this now with me, i can't get it working on Windows XP either. Do you need a SCSI card or something to work this? - I haven't got one (not my brother), only the Printer port (which it fits in but won't work).

It seems like a very old scanner, with the readme files refering to Window 3.11 quite frequently. Would a scanner like t his work from the LTP printer port - or does it need a SCSI card or something.?

TIA

Anthony
