Scandisk results?

  Tenacious Green 16:25 01 Apr 05

After an error occurred today on my home PC running XP Home involving Windows explorer, following some housecleaning, Defrag, etc I ran scandisk after ticking the automatifcally fix file error box.

After restart, scandisk did it's thing and then when it fininshed it stated it had fixed some error/s, but the blue screen disappeared very quickly as the computer restarted itself before I had chance to read what errors had occurred.

Is there anyway of finding out what errors were fixed if any?

Have a look at log files in Windows Explorer under C:\

Could you explain where abouts the logs files are within c:\ or do I have to do a explorer search using log as search term?

You could try *.Log in search

Couldn't find anything, however I did use CCLEANER before checking so that might have got rid.

Have a look in Event Viewer for Chkdsk or Autochk entries. Start\All Programs\Administrative Tools\Event Viewer.
