scandisk problem.

I am running Windows XP with two hard drives (C and D).
A couple of weeks ago I suffered a power interuption just after having set scandisk for both C and D drives.
Since then, D drive now seems to be permanently "marked for scandisk" at start up.
What ever I do, the scandisk marker stays!
Is there a registry fix required?
Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi, running RegScrubXP may fix the problem.

Don't be surprised if RegScrub finds hundreds of problems, let it fix them all.

make sure you have a back up of your registry before running any reg cleaner.
