Where is it ?, please can you tell me where to find it. On my old computer I used to do what I call it's MOT, scandick, defrag etc. I need to do it on my new computer. Cheers

goto my computer then right click over drive you want to scan & pick properties. in the tools tab there should be error checking, defragmentation & backup

Orb > computer > right click main windows drive C? > properties > tools > error checking > check now.

Put a tick in scan for bad sectors.

It will check the drive next time you reboot.

Thanks folks, I've done the scandisk but I now find my computer won't defrag, I click on defrag, windows asks me to authorize it, then nothing. Am I doing something wrong?. XP was much easier !
