You can rescale an image thats part of a larger design using Edit - Transform - Scale but this can only de done by either dragging the edges of the image to the appropriate dimensions or by typing figures into the percentage boxes on the toolbar.

Does anyone no if its possible to type in the actual required dimensions rather than having to deal with percentage changes?

Thanks

Change sizes in 'Document size'

Thanks for the advice but that changes the size of the whole image - i just want to change the sizes of indivdual elements (that are on their own layers) that are part of a larger design.

Ive actually discovered now that once you've selcted the element and selected Transform from the Edit menu, you can right click on the resize boxes at the top of the screen (that work in percentages ny default) and change this to either pixels or cm's.

Cheers
