Saving a program

i want to copy a program before i restore a pc as i no longer have disc. the program is called siebilus i have tried to copy the program files from my programs onto a memory stick and then onto another pc but when i tried to install said serieal number not valid.

What is the easiest way to copy this. obviously i am not breaking any copyright rules as i own software just need to save it somehow and then reinstall on pc after restore.

Very unlikely to work - the installation process you would normally go through adds entries to the registry and required files in the right places (in addition to the ones put in the Program Files folder), just moving a bunch of files across to another PC is not going to be enough.
If you have the serial number can't you call the company for a replacement CD?

To another drive, YES

TO another PC or a restored to factory codition PC, VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE.
Files are so emmbedded inwindows and in the registry it is difficult (stops piracy of programs)

However look for an uninstall log as it will list where all the files and registry keys are.
