Saving files simultaneously

Hi - is it possible to save files to the internal hard drive and also at the same time to an external one?

Obviously I know that we could do a 'save as', but in the circumstances in which we want to use it, this isn't feasible.

It involves a competition which is scored, and up until this year, someone wrote down the scores with pencil and paper as a back up. This year, a separate laptop was used, with the scores being entered as we went along. However, with well over 10600 bits of information to be handled, it's not a good scenario.

Perhaps there may be some software which would enable us to do this?

Fruit Bat /\0/\, thanks, but where the computer is, there's no network, butI don't think that's exactly what we're looking for.

It needs to be more or less instant - click 'Save' on the main computer and the files are saved as normal but also to a second drive at the same time.

That looks interesting - I'll have a look after my pre-prandial G&T!

Thank you
