Saving Favorites to floppy

My 80 year old pal is buying a new computer with windows XP home edition on it, he is upgrading from a cheap system running windows 98 I have been aske to save his favorites to a floppy (the only way it could be done) but I dont know how to. I must mention he is a stroke victim and gets great pleasure from the www, Thanks in anticapation. Paul

Or copy the C:\Windows\favorites folder and put them on the floppy.

Then in XP just paste them to:

C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Favorites

Excellent bit of work there Chris. It's a big advantage for people to be able to see the actual graphics from within windows own programs when they are asking for guidance.

I know you have put a lot of work into your help section and it already covers many aspects of working with windows programs. Well done and thanks. It is a big help, (especially for the people new to PC's) to be able to see the answer explained in the same format as they will see on their own machine. J.
