I have made a folder called Saved emails in Outlook Express 6.

Any email I want to save is moved to this folder.

Does it actually save it on the hard disk and if so where please? I am running Win 98SE and have done a search/find but can't find the folder anywhere. If I click on the folder in OE6 the emails I have saved are there.

It should be (in W98) in:

C:\Windows\Application
Data\Outlook Express{GUID}\Microsoft
Outlook Express

If you have saved the emails in Outlook Express simply by moving them to a folder named Saved emails within OE, then in your hard drive you should be lookin for a file named Saved emails.dbx. This will hold the files in a compressed format.

SANTOS7, good link. I don't save them that way but will do so in the future.

VoG™, sorry I don't have that path at all.

Gongoozler, That's the one. Thanks.

Solved. Ticked.
