Save ink when changing or checking a cartridge.

Passing on an idea I had many moons ago which will save ink when checking a new or replacement cartridge or just the existing one.

My Epson C60 has a test print out for inkjet cartridges which uses a lot of ink. (To be fair Epson do state it uses a lot to do their test). It uses smallish blocks of ink in squares.

I have created a special file in Word in Documents named Inksave (hows that for being clever !!) where I have printed the letter T about five times in black at size 20.
I have then repeated this in following lines in colours red, blue and yellow.
Now, when I want to check whether the ink is flowing correctly I just print out that page. It is very obvious if black or colour inks are not flowing and saves a lot of ink in the checking.

Thank you Timothy I'll give that a try as my ink carts are about to run out. Anything that saves a little is a bonus.
