Save drivers from pc

  naggis 09:07 20 Jun 06

My sister in laws pc needs a clean reinstall (xp + sp2) But she doesn't remember if there was a driver disk included with the pc when she bought it - about 2 years ago.
Can I save the drivers from the pc, particularly the audio driver, before reinstalling as I don't want to rely on xp to provide all the reqd drivers.

i would think so, just go to manufacturers site and d/load to ccdd or floppy if small enough.

Hi Johnnyrocker, the problem is that I don't know the full spec of the pc. So going to the makers site is not really a goer. So can I copy from the machine itself?

click here and run it. it will give you all the pc spec
