'Save As' dialogue boxes not showing all files

In WIN98SE, 'Save As' dialogue boxes only show files of the same type as the one being saved, even though the destination folder might have many others of different types. Is there a command anywhere which will show all files?

Set the 'Save as Type' box to 'All Files'

Thanks Eastender, but in some boxes you are not given the choice, and in others this doesn't work.
