I have 3 hdd's in my PC,

1x40Gb Samsung(carries the OS)XP Home

2x120Gb SATA Maxtors

My PC is on 24/7 as the SATA drives tend to "fail" detection during cold boots, but recently I re-cfg'ed the Power Options to

Switch the Monitor to Standby after 20 mins.

Do not switch off/standby the hdd's

Standby after 30 mins.

The last few times I have wakened the PC,I have had to restart the PC as my SATA partitions were missing from My Computer.I have checked all settings in Device Manager(it was switching off the NIC/USB when it decided these were unused)but there is nothing to adjust for the SATA hdd's.Is there any way to stop XP switching the HDD's Off please?
