Does anyone know a link for a converter which will allow me to use my sata hdd with my ide motherboard? I don't want to get a sata pci card because i have heard they cause instability / mess up the pci bus (especially since all 6 of my pci slots are in use anyway!) Thanks

Plenty of converters to work the other way.

This click here in the states will do what you want, but do not know of UK supplier

Have to ask though why buy sata if you only have ide?

was an accident. I decided to keep it though, as i thought i could use it for future pcs. Ah well, looks like i'll just have to get one of those delightful expansion cards.
