i have a SATA HArdrive
When i boot up, the dreaded blue screen flashes up "Unmountable-Boot-Volume"
I have tried doing the following to rescue it

Tried using the Windows Recovery Console - Cant access the drive

Re-installing Windows - Cant Access the drive

HAve also installed windows on a IDE hard drive, setting te IDE as the primary boot .
But if i then boot up with the SATA one connected, it just hangs

Any ideas?

Windows Recovery Console

Did you install the SATA driver(F6)

When you used IDE,it probably hung as you have now 2 different bootable OS's on two drives.

Yes, i have installed the sata driver

also, when i had the two drives connected, i have tried booting up with the sata drive disabled in bios, but it still hangs
