can anyone help me i have an asus a7n8x deluxe motherboard how do i put sata drivers on to a floppy disk i have tried but the files are to big to fit onto a floppy

If they are too big for the floppy, why not try putting them onto a CD?

You only need to put...

Si3112(setup info) (r) if RAID

Si3112(system file)

Si3112 (mfd)

gbttk.dll

SIISUPP.vxd

Txtsetup.oem

All these added up = 227Kbs,easily fitted on a floppy.

Start install of XP,press F6 when requested to install the SATA driver,DO NOT insert floppy until XP requests it,or you will likely get a "Txtsetup.oem error"

Chegs is right.
About the CD advice - XP probably will insist on a floppy!!!

keithlik - mabye, but I put Linux onto a machine with drivers on a CD so thought it may be a possibility...

Yes,XP does insist on a floppy. Its possible to use a CD,but requires an "custom" XP install disc(unattended, etc)
