I have just installed a Sata 2 Hard Drive and I have the other as my Main Drive do I have to go into the Disk Management to format the drive?

If it's a new drive and it hasn't been formatted and doesn't show up in 'My Computer' then yes, you'll need to foramt it from Disk Management, Rob_25_Wales. Go to Start > Run and type in:

and click OK to get to Disk Management.

Your main drive with the Op system NEEDS to be plugged into the SATA 1 port on the motherboard as this is the equivalent of the master with sata controllers, all other drives plugged into any other SATA port will be "slave"
