i have recently been looking into sat nav systems for my partner as part of her christmas present. after many hours of looking at web pages and tec info, i decided that navman systems where good value for your money.

p.s. once she found out that i had one for her, she wanted it early (saves wasting part of the warranty as she put it) and even plays with it going to work, even though she has been taking the same route for over 10 yrs now.

The general opinion is that the TomTom range has the edge.

I'm with anchor on this one but....

Halfords has a Navman satnav at £99.99 this weekend - half price apparently.

Just found the Daily Mail..

It's the ICN 330 whilst the 300i is down from £240 to £120 and has European mapping.

The Navman ICN 300 is a discontinued model; nevertheless its excellent value at Argos; £89.99. It has UK mapping.
