sasser virus and server 2003

we have a new server (installed last week) which has server 2003 software.

the pcs linked to it are 95/98/2000 and xp. i've downloaded the sasser patches for 2000 and xp but it won't let me install them on the machines as i don't have rights.

however, my question is - if server 2003 software is not affected by sasser (as per microsoft website) then do i need to update the individual 2000 and xp machines?

many thanks

i would think so as the virus sits on open traffic.

Thanks Johnny

You would think so as in i should update 2000 and xp pcs or in that that 2003 server software should be sufficient.

many thanks

always (unless auto update configured) regularly visit the ms website and it will inform of which is required.
