SAS Winlogon exe

Windows XP Pentium 4
A message has appeared on my screen,
"SAS Winlogon exe, 0x77f42886 Memory addresse 0x01159465. memory cannot be written.
If i press ok the computer reboots. I cannot access safe mode; I tried re install, last known good config, nothing works. Using Recovery Console asks for an Admin password. Ido not recall ever having one.
So i am stuck with startup page and above message.
Using friend computer to write this.

Any ideas.

If you haven't set an administrator password just press the Enter key.

Will connect my CPU to a monitor and try again.
Stay tuned.

If you can get to the boot menu by pressing F8 at startup, choose to boot to command prompt(with or without cd support) and type in C:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe or try %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe hopthis helps....TT

Managed to run repair windows console. Going back into BIOS it shows 1stBoot Device as CD rom. Cannot alter any settings with arrow keys. I assume the 1st Boot device should now be the Master(hard drive). How do i change the settings.
