sas virus

on behalf of a friend , they have been told they have a sas virus, thay have tried to get rid of it but can't . When they turn on the computer the computer gives them 58 secounds to download files then automatically turns itself off, anyone get any ideas??

1. Click START, RUN
2. Type SHUTDOWN -A and hit ENTER

This will stop the computer shutting down and allow you to remove the virus.

Download and run Stinger to remove the virus click here

Make sure the PC then has all the relevant updates installed and get a good antivirus software like Avast4 click here
or AVG antivirus click here
