RFC#50# 23:03 21 Oct 03

Every time i open an active window a program opens which drains my system memory. When i check in the Task Manager a sapisvr.exe is the problem. I think this is something to do with the voice recognition integration in microsoft word but i`m not sure. Anyone have any ideas on how to disable this process as i have deleted the files but to no avail?

C#50# from a forum on this subject at click here

To turn off speech recognition, follow these steps:

Open the Regional and Language Options tool in Control Panel.

On the Languages tab, click Details under Text services and input languages.

Under Installed services, click Speech Recognition, and then click Remove.

Click OK to apply all the changes. You may need to restart your computer.
