Samsung X22?

I need a laptop and started to investigate what's around. I went to look at the Samsung R60 Plus in the flesh but while I was there spied the Samsung X22 which, with my extremely minimal knowledge of laptops, found more appealing. i liked the smaller screen, the keyboard etc.

I have a budget up to around £500 and can get an X22 for about £540. The R60 is available for about £380. I need it to do some work on (maybe word, excel) but mainly playing - itunes, shopping, surfing. I won't be gaming on it but want it to be quick when using the internet. Alternatively I could go for a dell (1525 or studio 15) but yet to see them on display....

Anyone have experience of these machines?
Any advice?

Never bought one, nearly always use Toshiba.
Well built, reliable & great customer service.
